The Force Unleashed demo takes forever to download

Download speed for Force Unleashed is certainly not lightning quick.

If you own a PlayStation 3, then you should be downloading the demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed at PSN by now. Problem is—it takes forever to get the file. It doesn’t matter what time you initiate the downloading process because doing so even during off-peak hours is a crisis.

Character creation flaws in Dekaron show state of local MMOs

The Dekaron character creation screen is more guessing game than anything.

The virtual gates of Dekaron were opened to several thousand gamers from all over Southeast Asia when its closed beta test officially began last August 12, 2008. Not all were immediately able to set foot in the land of Trieste due to connection problems, but the log-in issues were addressed shortly after. Read more

We’ve heard of PSP “phones” and PSPs using a touchscreen, but the biggest news today is the PSP-3001. The newest version of Sony’s PlayStation Portable handheld was said to be discovered recently at the website of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.

Dekaron CBT: Log-in woes

The Dekaron log-in screen felt like a brick wall.

The Dekaron closed beta test has started, but I’m stuck at the login screen. For some strange reason, my password wasn’t recognized by the system so I resorted to changing it. The web page asked for a username, a secret question, and a corresponding email address that’s supposed to receive the new password.

It’s finally here. Mobius has sent me the confirmation email for Dekaron’s closed beta test (CBT), which would officially begin today at 4:00pm, Philippine time (GMT+8). You won’t be able to play the game until the clock strikes at the appointed time.
