I was recently informed by Nokia that its N-Gage website for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is already live. As some of you may have heard, The Force Unleashed is a multimedia project that arrived in a variety of platforms, such as the PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, iPhone, second-gen N-Gage phones, Nintendo DS, PSP, and Java-equipped handhelds.

The Force Unleashed website for N-Gage is live.

The website lets you download a demo of The Force Unleashed for the N-Gage or Java phones. Since my Nokia E61 isn’t N-Gage capable, I had no choice but get the Java version. The website then prompted me to input my mobile number, but I have yet to get any messages.

However, I was able to download several sound effects, a couple of handset themes, and the Duel of the Fates track. For some strange reason, Nokia calls the song “The Duel Continues.”

The website also contained some info on a couple of contests that Star Wars nerds would gladly jump on. Prizes include a 12” Clone Trooper and an R2-D2 projector.

Just one nitpick: Duel of the Fates kept playing whenever I loaded a new page, even if I already turned it off earlier. It was rather annoying so I just unplugged my earphones.

If you have an N-Gage enabled phone, please do share with us the details of the demo. If you were somehow fortunate enough to get the Java version of the demo, please teach me the Jedi powers you used to get the text message.
