Street Fighter 2 CE can now be played on your browser
It’s time to get old-school. Metaboli, a digital distributor of PC games, announced the launch of a Flash version for Street Fighter II Championship Edition, which you can play for free on your browser. What’s the catch, you ask? You’re going to get plenty of encouragement to download the digital version of Street Fighter IV for the PC, which is being sold for $39.99.
As you may have noticed, the Flash version of Street Fighter II CE was released to promote the Street Fighter IV on the PC. But hey, you’re not required to buy Street Fighter IV to keep playing the Flash game.
Good luck playing Street Fighter II CE using a keyboard though. The Flash version may be a tad slower, but executing combos takes a little getting used to.
