Review for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is live

Remember when I mentioned earlier this week that I was playing through Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia? It was for a review I was doing on the game, which was scheduled to be posted at Daily Nintendo. Well, the review is up so feel free to read it here.

In a nutshell, I loved Order of Ecclesia. I think it’s the best Castlevania on the DS to date, but don’t let that stop you from finding out why the game is fantastic. Apparently, video game pundits agree with me.

For gamers still unsure if Castlevania should be included in their holiday purchases, watch the IGN video review below to quell your doubts.

By the way, I’ve also handed in my review of NBA Live 09 for K-Zone Philippines. Good luck seeing it online though. K-Zone’s video game reviews are exclusively for print.

Despite my seemingly-light schedule this week, I need to finish a couple of games and roll out a review for each. First up is Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the Nintendo DS, whose review would come out for Daily Nintendo. The second is NBA Live 2009 for the Sony PSP–its K-Zone review is due on Friday.

New Castlevania game is coming to the Wii

Here’s something I never saw coming: Konami announced that there’s going to be a new Castlevania game, but it’s not the recognizable Metroidvania style that we’re used to. Castlevania Judgment is a 3D fighting game, and is being developed for the Wii.
